The City of Yuba City encourages public participation, particularly throughout the preliminary engineering and environmental review phases of the project.

An Open House Public Information Meeting was held from 6 pm to 7 pm on August 22, 2013 at the Yuba City Council Chambers, 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, CA 95993. Comments on the draft Environmental Document submitted at the meeting have been incorporated into the final Environmental Documents.

On December 21, 2010 the City's Consultant, Dokken Engineering, made informational presentations to the City Councils in both Marysville and Yuba City. Slides from the presentations are accessible through the following link:

The project team conducted workshops in both Yuba City and Marysville to keep the public informed and solicit public input on the project alternatives. These workshops occurred on Monday, January 31, 2011 in Yuba City and Thursday February 10, 2011 in Marysville. The workshop in Yuba City was held at the Flower House Hall located at the Yuba Sutter Fairgrounds. The workshop in Marysville was held at the Yuba County Board Chambers located at 915 8th Street.
