10/6/10: Project completed. Final surface restoration and repair of damaged traffic signal detector loops has been transferred to a separate construction contract.

5/5/2010 Update: Marques Pipeline has completed installation of the 30-inch waterline in Lincoln Road from Ohleyer Road to Portola Valley Road and from State Route 99 to Garden Highway. During the next 4 weeks (weather permitting), pipeline installation will continue in Lincoln Road between Portola Valley Road and the Gilsizer Slough. The line will then be filled, pressure tested, and disinfected in early June with final surface restoration scheduled for late June or early July.

03/22/2010: Marques Pipeline has completed installation of the 30-inch waterline in Bunce Road to Lincoln Road and in Lincoln Road from Bunce Road to Jones Road. During the next 2 weeks (weather permitting), pipeline installation will continue in Lincoln Road between Jones Road and State Route 99.

03/08/2010: Marques Pipeline has completed installation of the 30-inch waterline in Clark Avenue/Bunce Road to Richland Road, including the bore and jack of the Gilsizer Slough. During the next 2 weeks (weather permitting), pipeline installation will continue in Bunce Road between Richland Road and Lincoln Road. Bunce Road will be closed to through traffic between Richland Road and Lincoln Road in multiple block segments during this time. A detour is available.

02/22/2010: Marques Pipeline has completed installation of the 30-inch waterline in Clark Avenue/Bunce Road to East Hillcrest Avenue, including the bore and jack of the Gilsizer Slough. During the next 2 weeks (weather permitting), pipeline installation will continue in Bunce Road between East Hillcrest Avenue and Richland Road. Bunce Road will be closed to through traffic between Hillcrest Avenue and Richland Road during this time. A detour is available.

02/08/2010: Marques Pipeline has completed installation of the 30-inch waterline in Clark Avenue approximately up to the Gilsizer Slough. During the next 3 weeks, Clark Avenue/Bunce Road will be closed to facilitate installation of dewatering wells, construction of bore and receiving pits, and the bore and jack crossing of the Gilsizer Slough. A detour will be available.

01/11/2010: Marques completed the segment in Clark Avenue between B Street and Franklin Avenue last week. They will now continue installing the new water main in Clark Avenue south from Franklin Avenue. Clark Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic with flaggers. Motorists are advised to expect delays and encouraged to use alternative routes

12/28/2009: Marques Pipeline completed the segment in B St between Cooper and Clark last week. They will close Clark between B and Franklin and install the 30” in this segment during the next 2 weeks while school is not in session.
