Completed Construction Project:

Walton 16” Water Distribution Line
Contract: 09-06
Contractor: Lamon Construction Co., Inc. of Yuba City
General Work Description:  The work to be completed consists of installing approximately 3,350 linear feet of 16-inch diameter domestic waterline and related appurtenances, and other items of work.
Potential Traffic Impacts: Minimal impacts, roadways will remain accessible during construction.
Construction Dates: October - January 2009
Current Project Status:

03/22/2010: Lamon Construction has completed final pavement restoration. This project is now considered complete.

02/22/2010: Lamon Construction has completed the testing and disinfection of the 16-inch waterline. Final pavement restoration will be completed in March, weather permitting.

02/08/2010: Lamon has completed installation of water services for the 16-inch waterline. The remaining work activities include testing and chlorinating the line and installing permanent pavement. Testing and chlorinating is expected to occur next week and permanent paving will be installed later this month, weather permitting.

12/28/2009: Lamon has completed installation of the 16-inch waterline. The remaining work activities include installing water services, testing and chlorinating the line, and installing permanent pavement. These activities are expected to occur in early January.
