	R.O.O.T.S! Afro Fusion Dance and Drum Company R.O.O.T.S. is a dance, drum and song troupe performing the music and dance of Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean. Based in the Paradise/Chico area, Raiz do Brazil has worked together since 1995, performing in such venues as the California World Music Festival, Whole Earth Festival in Davis, A Taste of Chico, weddings, private parties, benefits and educational programs at elementary and middle schools. Be sure and catch the enthusiasm, energetic approach to music and dance, colorful costumes and eclectic style of R.O.O.T.S. at this year's Cultural Celebration. Ballet Folklorico de Park Avenue Punjabi American Dancers Bhangara, a traditional artform from the Punjabi homeland, is danced at celebrations and festivals, including an April harvest festival called Basikhi. Once again, you can enjoy this marvelous traditional dance performed by local Punjabi children at the Cultural Celebration. Marysville Taiko Japanese Taiko Drumming Sari Farmer Indonesian Dancer Atapaz Atapaz, a band based out of Sacramento, CA, plays a mix of Latin/Reggae/Afro-beat with a lot of funk and rhythm.
