Business Licenses

The Finance Division issues Yuba City Municipal Business Licenses. The Business License packet consists of an Application Form, a Building License Affidavit, and a Yuba City Fire Department Form.

The cost of the Business License is calculated based on gross receipts (depending on category) in addition to a $35 annual administrative fee.

The Business License is valid from the start of the business to the end of the calendar year. If your business is located in the City of Yuba City, you will need to submit your Business License Application Form to the Planning Department in City Hall for zoning approval.

There will be questions we will need answered and the process usually takes up to 15 minutes to complete. Payment will be taken at the counter.
