Online Terms & Conditions
Buyer must be registered and in good standing with the online auction vendor.
All property is offered for sale is "AS-IS, WHERE-IS" with no warranty or guarantee as to its fitness for any use or purpose offered or implied.
All sales are final.
Every effort will be made to accurately describe property offered for bid. However, for consideration, all claims regarding inaccurate descriptions must be submitted (in writing) to the General Services Manager within 24-hours of the property being received by the successful Bidder.
The City of Yuba City reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to reject any and/or all bids considered as not in the best interest of the City of Yuba City.
Buyer is of legal age to enter into a contract with the City of Yuba City. Buyer is responsible for paying ALL shipping, handling, and insurance costs.
Payment for property bid on and awarded must be paid for in-full within seven government working days from the date of electronic award.
Payment must be received through PayPal.
The measure of the City of Yuba City's liability, in any case where liability of the City of Yuba City to the Buyer has been established, shall not exceed refund of such portion of the purchase price as the City of Yuba City may have received.
City of Yuba City Surplus Property's business hours are 7 A.M. to 4 P.M. Monday through Friday (PST). For an appointment or directions call 530-822-4645. Sales that close after business hours will be responded to on the following business day.
Bidders may be barred from participation in City of Yuba City sales for any of the following:
- Failure to observe the Terms and Conditions of sale.
- Failure to claim purchases.
