Sand & Sand Bags Available for City Residents
At Sutter Buttes Little League Parking Lot
On Market Street

January 3, 2008; The City of Yuba City has established a supply of sand and sand bags for the use of City residents at the Sutter Buttes Little League parking lot on Market Street in east Yuba City. Based upon current information provided by the National Weather Service, City officials do not anticipate serious or widespread flooding within Yuba City. There is the possibility of some localized flooding dependent upon rainfall amounts.

The City has established this sand bag distribution point for those citizens who feel the need to protect their property from localized flooding. Sand and sand bags will be made available for citizens to fill at this location.

City Officials will continue to closely monitor information provided by the National Weather Service and may add additional locations for sand and sand bags should the need arise.
