Utilities Division

The City of Yuba City Utilities Division, a division of the Department of Public Works, oversees the operation of the City's water and wastewater treatment plants. The Utilities Division aims to provide safe, reliable and efficient water/wastewater services for the community and environment.

After Hours Emergency

If you are experiencing a Utility Department related after hours emergency, such as a major water leak or sewer system backup, please contact the Yuba City Police Department dispatch center, (530) 822-4661, to request a Public Works on-call crew member to respond.

Wastewater Treatment, Wastewater Collection, and Water Distribution System:

To contact the Public Works Department regarding an issue with the water distribution system such as a water main leak, an issue with the sewer collection system such as an overflow, or an item related to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, please call (530) 822-4626.
