Utilities Division: Hillcrest Surface Water Conversion Project

Project Timeline:

Region 2/3 – (West Side of Hwy 99)

Franklin Road south to Lincoln Road - Customers residing in this area are currently receiving surface water and will remain on surface water permanently.

Lincoln Road south to Bogue Road - Customers residing in this area will be converted to surface water in the fall of 2010. Pipeline construction will start in the summer of 2009 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2010. A water storage tank for this area is expected to be completed in the spring of 2011.

Region 1 – (East Side of Hwy 99)

Region 1 customers have been receiving surface water since October 2009. It is anticipated that Region 1 will now stay on surface water permanently.
