Resurfacing

Project Name: 2019 Resurfacing Project

The City of Yuba City has rehabilitated numerous residential, collector, and arterial streets in the Residential Resurfacing Project with a combination of Asphalt Rubber Chip Seals, and Slurry Seals. The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), in an effort to promote the use of California waste tire rubber recycling in pavement design, repairs and maintenance, partially funded the Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal through their Rubberized Pavement Grant program.

The pavement rehabilitation portion of the project was completed by Valley Slurry Seal International
