Project Name: Residential Resurfacing Project 

The City of Yuba City has rehabilitated numerous residential, collector, and arterial streets in the Residential Resurfacing Project with a combination of Asphalt Rubber Chip Seals, HMA overlays, HMA Leveling courses, and Slurry California waste tire rubber recycling in pavement design, repairs and maintenance, partially funded the Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal through their Rubberized Pavement Grant program.

The pavement rehabilitation portion of the project was completed by Valley Slurry Seal International and their Rubberized Pavement Grant program.  The pavement rehabilitation portion of the project was completed by Valley Slurry Seal International and their subcontractor

The project allowed for 15 streets to be rehabilitated using the asphalt Rubber Chip Seal, which ultimately diverted 7,491.25 passenger tire equivalent waste tires form the waste stream.
