View this post on Instagram Last night at 12:50 am, YCFD was dispatched to a commercial fire at 1290 Louise Ave (Old Country Waffle.) Upon arrival, fire personnel located heavy fire showing throughout most of the building. YCFD performed defensive fire attack operations and was able to contain the fire in approximately 1 hour. No injuries or fatalities. The building suffered heavy damage and is considered a total loss. E1 was able to extinguish the fire without it extending into the vegetation. Being a part of the California Mutual Aid System allows for us to help these communities threatened by wildfires. All costs incurred during these incidents are fully reimbursed by the Office of Emergency Services.
